THINGS TO DO
Venice
Venice, the capital of the Veneto region, lies on more than 100 small islands within a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. In this city there are no roads but canals, including the Grand Canal, flanked by Renaissance and Gothic palaces. On the central square, Piazza San Marco, stands the Basilica of San Marco, enriched by Byzantine mosaics, and the bell tower of San Marco, from which you can admire the red roofs of the city.
Imagine the audacity of building a city of marble palaces on a lagoon – and that was only the start.
Abano Thermal Hot Springs

The Euganean Basin hot springs are ancient waters that flow at a temperature of approximately 87°C after a decade-long underground voyage from the Lessini Mountains (the Prealps). During the course of this journey at a 2000-3000 metre depth, the water becomes enriched with minerals; its composition makes it a precious thermal resource of exceptional therapeutic value.
Thanks to its warmth and chemical composition, thermal water is the ideal environment to relieve pain and to relax body and mind.
Adriatic Sea
Adriatic beaches are really close, more or less in 1hr by car from Crespino. This is why residents of Treviso, Venice, Padua, like to spend their weekends, tanning on a chaise longue, and diving into the sea from time to time. The beaches of Jesolo, Caorle, Bibione and Lignano are really suggestive, a very wide foreshore with fine golden sand, on a almost always warm and calm sea.
It’s the perfect paradise for families with small children as you can always keep an eye on them and watch where they go, even if there is not any danger on the beach or in the sea.
Delta Del Po
Unesco Biosphere Reserve
The Po Delta, in the province of Rovigo, is one of the most striking natural oasis of Italy, and the largest European wetland. The "sweet giant", as the Po river is known, fans upward, branching into seven waterways and giving life to a unique natural environment before pouring into the Adriatic. The most wild waterway, the Po di Maistra, offers an occasion to visit the splendid oasis of the flood area of CÃ Pisani. Charming landscapes are found along the branch of Venice.
Padua City
Padua (Padova) is a commune located in the Veneto region of North East Italy – Although often considered to be part of the greater metropolitan area of Venice and Treviso, Padua has a distinct history and has been an important city since the Middle Ages. Located on the Bacchiglione River, Padua lies approximately 25 miles to the west of Venice. This city is extremely beautiful and features a plethora of charming architecture, bridges crossing the river, and also the important University of Padua which once played host to the legendary Galileo.
Euganean Hills
The Euganean Hills are a group of hills of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 m from the Padovan-Venetian plain a few km south of Padua. The Colli Euganei form the first Regional park established in the Veneto, enclosing fifteen towns and eighty one hills.
Green vineyards hurtle down the slopes and gorgeous views open up towards the nearby towns and cities of the Veneto
and all through them are dotted countless natural beauty spots, historical sights, cultural landmarks and culinary hotspots.
